Since I always delete the install information of Windows Updates and Hotfixs (since it’s wasting space and why should I want to uninstall them anyway?), I got a problem to install the update KB913670 since it requires to uninstall the previous 912475 update. But since me and many of other users do not have this uninstallation info anymore, you have just…lost! After days of searching, I luckily found a solution on Will’s Blog here which offers a download of the missing installtion information files and explains how to use it, thank you a lot! 🙂
Now, after a week, I finally have all updates installed! =)

And yes, I am speaking about Windows XP X64 here so it works not only in Windows XP Professional! 🙂

Since the last time I spoke about ICQ Phone, the xtraz info page was not available, and since it doesn’t display in English on all computers, I am happy to present the English description page =)

Also check the differences between ICQPhone rates (all rates are in US Dollar!) and SkypeOut (all rates are in Euro!)

A bit over a year ago I reported already an
Undocumented ICQ Error Number called 1001 now here we go with another one: 1004:

1004 means that somebody blocked ICQ from doing anything filetransfer related, including re-directed filetransfer.if both users use ICQ 5 the file transfer will _usually_ always work since it redirects it through a server if direct connection is not possible. only in very _rare_ cases, people block even ICQ’s ability to re-direct a filetransfer.
Since this is really very rare, it’s an undocumented error number.

There is some new ICQ Help Group where people can ask for help with ICQ related problems (in English and German). Seems some users try to help others out since the death of ICQ Support! 🙂
Yet a bit rarely visited and some answers lack of accuracy but probably this will improve with the time passing by! =)

3 days ago, I finally received the notification about the new Pro7 ICQ SMS Xtra, where I reported about its existance on June 7th and when it was finally in English ICQ 5.1 I presented screenshots on June 13th 😎 So have been 3 weeks faster than the ICQ Team! 😀
