This game has the common issue of some bink videos freezing in full screen, since manually putting it to Window mode is not possible the only way is to ALT, CRTL and DEL it then return to the game and the rest of the splash screens past the first “Focus” one play without freeze.
Since the video files are packed, there is no easy workaround of the specific viedeo file causing the issue.
